this was the last ever loop that stafford recorded in California prior to his permanent move to Scotland in 2005. "puddles" has a really cool semiambient groove to it - one of those pieces that gets "stuck in your brain". taken from the ep "the machinations of heaven" this track is a perfect introduction to the feel of that particular release.
